Companies today are using different means to advertise their need for additional staff members. Before, the most common way to let job applicants know that they need additional employees is via newspapers or by simply putting an ad in the company premises. In the past, the newspaper is where job applicants look for possible job opportunities. However, newspaper has quite limited information. It might be because the space provided for advertising is very minimal. So only a few companies can post their need. Other ways that business firms use to post their need of staff members is via television or radio. But such ways is not really a hundred percent effective because such advertisement won’t be shown always. Today, one of the most effective ways that companies use to inform people that they are getting more employees is through job search websites. Yes, almost all people today know how to use the computer especially in searching for just about anything. And with that, these job search websites is clearly an effective method for business firms to post their need of men and women and to access a lot of job applicants to be able to find the right employee for the company. However, there are certain factors that contribute to the affectivity of a certain website. Most job applicants like me would prefer to use a job search website with a good image and with a good graphic design. I believe that is also the case with the business firms. They will of course post the information on websites where there will be hundreds of job applicants.
